Cynthia's corpse may be released on Monday

Cynthia Osokogu’s  burial, earlier slated for today 8th September, 2012 has been delayed because her corpse has not yet been delivered to her family.

Her corpse was sent for an autopsy since her death and according to a police source, the body would be handed back to the family of the deceased on Monday.

May I refresh you about the deceased Miss? She was invited by unknown men who drugged, raped and murdered her. She was only 24 years old. May her soul rest in peace.

This could have happened to anybody, it really may not happen in the pattern it did to her but these things happen to the very innocent every day.

When I was 17 years old, I was privy to see a man who was about to rape a girl my age. He tied her to a tree and it was her loud wails that drew attention to people around. The man was caught and dealt with, the Nigerian style. This happened just about 200 meters from my house.

Now ladies, even though I said this can happen to anyone, it’s relative. We need to take note of certain things.
*Watch the friends you keep
*Be very careful of the places you go
*Do not oblige all invitations
*Please do not give out your telephone numbers to a man you are not sure of
*Do not give a man your personal details in a rush
*Know what you want out of life, it would guide you in making sound decisions.

This list is inexhaustible, however, we must all make sure we pray every day and let God who knows all lead out feet in the right path.

I want to also appeal to us to be very security conscious. When we hear or see abnormal things, let’s alert others and take action. Through that, you may just be saving another life.

Have a pleasant week ahead.
