International Day Of The Girl Child: The Terrifying World Of Child Brides


The girl Child has suffered a lot from the beginning of times,something has to be done about it. mothers even force their daughters into it because since they did it,others must do same. This mindset has to change.

October 11 was International Day of the Girl Child and to mark and draw attention to the problem of child brides, photojournalist Stephanie Sinclair teamed up with National Geographic to create a series of heart-breaking photos depicting girls as young as five years old being married off to middle-aged men in countries like India, Yemen and Ethiopia.
