Prisoner gets stuck in the wall during attempted escape [PHOTOS]

Rafael Valadao must have under estimated the size of his body when his attempts to escape jail ended in humiliation – when he got stuck in a hole he helped smash in his cell wall.
Firefighters had to free the 16-stone (approx. 102kg) prisoner when his belly stopped him making his break for freedom.
To make matters worse thereby compounding his embarrassment, prison guards stood round laughing as the operation to release him swung into action.
Authorities were last night hunting for a thinner cell-mate who managed to escape first.
Two other inmates waiting behind Rafael also saw their hopes of freedom thwarted by the unexpected hitch in their escape bid.
The four hatched their escape plan at a jail in Ceres in the central Brazilian state of Goias.
Firefighters stepped in around 2am on Tuesday after the two inmates waiting their turn behind Rafael failed in various attempts to push him through the hole they had made with a metal bar.
He was later taken to hospital under police protection with a suspected broken rib.
A police spokesman said: “He was screaming with pain when help arrived.
“He seemed to have underestimated the size of his stomach.”

Prophet TB Joshua's Church Sells Miracle Forms For US$100

Police moved in on Monday to disperse hundreds of people gathered at Belvedere Teacher's College after they responded to a TV advert to come and receive "spiritual healing" from Nigerian preacher, TB Joshua.
The desperate crowd, mainly women, were under the impression TB Joshua would be at the college in person. College authorities called in the police to restore order as the restive crowd confronted organisers of the event.

The crowd were advised to reconvene at the Harare Agricultural Showgrounds on Monday evening but they were disappointed to discover TB Joshua was not in Zimbabwe.

One woman who travelled from Gokwe said she had an illness which she hoped TB Joshua could cure.
"I just came here hoping to get deliverance from the man of God, only to be told that we should register for an appointment," she said after making the 340km bus trip to the capital.

Her husband, who travelled with her, said: "We were surprised to hear that we are required register. The message which we heard and saw on Emmanuel TV was that TB Joshua was coming to heal us, not the issue of registration."

A member of TB Joshua's church in Zimbabwe, identified as Chibwe, told the crowd: "The advert on TV was saying that people should come for registration so that they are ready to travel to Nigeria. So please don't be confused because there is no chaos in Christ."

The crowd were asked to buy "registration forms" for US$100 each and deposit a further US$2,000 for the trip to Nigeria for an audience with TB Joshua at his Synagogue Church of All Saints which is headquartered in Lagos.

Several Zimbabwean politicians have travelled to Nigeria over the last year for an audience with TB Joshua, believed by supporters to have healing powers and an ability to see into the future.

Among those who have sought TB Joshua are MDC-T leader and Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai, Home Affairs Minister Kembo Mohadi and Zanu PF officials Oppah Muchinguri and Chris Mushowe.

Teacher Sentenced to 8 Months In Prison for killing rabbits in class

An Italian teacher has been sentenced to eight months in prison for killing two rabbits with a hammer in front of his pupils in an anatomy class, the animal protection association LAV said on Wednesday.
Carlo Rando, a trained surgeon, had ordered a delivery of four dead rabbits to be dissected for his class, the association said in a statement.
Two were dead when they arrived but the two surviving ones escaped into the classroom before being captured by the teacher.
He first tried to strangle them, then punched them and finally finished them off with a hammer in front of terrified teens, LAV said.
“Horrific scenes worthy of an abattoir were played out in front of minors,” the group said, hailing “the courage of other teachers and pupils who wanted to denounce the terrible actions of their teacher”.K
Michela Kuan, a biologist working for LAV, said: “Such barbaric methods are unacceptable not just from an ethical standpoint but also because they are completely useless since anatomy is no longer taught by dissecting animals.”

What is Responsible for a Man's Sexual Gratification?

I got curious and wanted to get views from the male folks on sexual gratification.I simply wanted to know if  the lady's physical features, the act itself or other factors are responsible. I got something way out of what I expected.  What do you think?

Bran's opinion
To me, it means everything. The woman and her features determine if the act itself is satisfying. Sex is just sex but if added with the nature of the woman and aura(so to say) it is absolute bliss.

Ola's view
First, at my early age 17-23,it was about pleasure and had everything to do with the girl's physical features.  Although as a growing man,the act is in itself exciting.
However, when i hit age 25 and beyond, i discovered sex was a bonding agent/tool and should not be used where bonding is intended.
Furthermore, it came to my understanding that sex is to be given along with a feeling of love and not to be shared with all. Sex is the mature minds.

Anonymous lady's view
My own view is simple. Sex is bonding which should be reserved for marriage alone. It is specially arranged by God for that purpose.
It is one great thing that unites the couple and causes them to become one.
Outside marriage,it is all about transferring spirits from one person to the other. The more you have sex, the more of that person you become. The best place for that to happen must be marriage.

Any supporting or contrary views?

Unprotected sex causes cervical cancer – Gynaecologist

An Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Consultant, Dr. Olaleye Olalekan, has warned women against unprotected sex and multiple sexual partners, saying it causes Human Papilloma Virus, which always leads to cervical cancer..
Speaking at a health awareness seminar on the theme, “Prevention and Early Detection of Cervical Cancer,” organised by Lagoon Hospitals in Lagos on Friday, Olaleye said the disease is sexually transmitted and peculiar to women.
According to him, abnormal menstrual bleeding, bleeding during sexual contact or after menopause remain the symptoms of cervical cancer over the years.
“Human Papilloma Virus, which is responsible for cervical cancer, genital warts and vaginal, vulvar, anal and penile cancers is the most common sexually transmitted disease, infecting about 80 per cent of young women within five years of becoming sexually active. An estimated 630 million women worldwide are infected.
“This virus is spread during sex from contact with the sores, or lesions, that develop around infected cells.
“Often, the virus is killed by the immune system, but in some people HPV can take hold and cause lesions that can turn cancerous years later,” he noted.
Olaleye, however, urged women observing symptoms of HPV to seek medical attention early to avoid complications. He added, “HPV vaccines are always recommended in pre-pubertal girls.
“Also surgery and radiotherapy are other remedies that are suitable for cervical cancer if the victim seeks medical rescue as early as possible.”
Earlier, the Managing Director, Lagoon Hospitals, Ikeja, Dr. Olajide Ojo, stated that the hospital decided to intervene and educate the public on salient health issues due to increasing late presentation of terminal diseases.
Ojo admonished Nigerians to prioritise their health and not allow the cost of medi-care to discourage them from seeking quality care.
“In this country, screening services are readily available and accessible. So, why should our women continue to die of cervical cancer,” he added.
Also speaking on Prostate Cancer, a consultant urologist, Dr. Andrew Mene, said the disease only affect men above 50 years of age but some cases have been recorded in younger men.
Mene noted that though smoking increases the risk of developing the disease, the cause of prostate cancer has not been established.
He noted that prostate cancer is yet to be linked with sexually- transmitted disease. “Most prostate cancer cases are growing slowly. The symptoms include blood in the urine, seizure in urine flow, loss of appetite, weight loss and bone pains.
“Patients with these symptoms must visit medical experts or a hospital on time for either surgery or radiotherapy,” he added.

Meet Africa’s Richest Woman Folorunsho Alakija

Arguably Nigeria’s oil baroness, Folorunsho Alakija, 61, is Africa’s richest woman with a net worth of $600m as at November when Forbes released its ‘Africa’s 40 richest’.
The married mother of four who owns a £64M (N16,049,664,000) flat in One Hyde Park, London, started her career in the mid 1970s as a secretary at the now-defunct International Merchant Bank of Nigeria, one of the West African nation’s earliest investment banks. In the 1980s, after studying fashion design in England, she founded Supreme Stitches, a Nigerian fashion label that catered to upscale clientele and six years later, she emerged the best designer in the country in 1986.
Alakija struck gold in 1993 when then Nigerian President, Ibrahim Babangida awarded her company, Famfa Oil, an oil prospecting license which went on to become OML 127, one of Nigeria’s most prolific oil blocks that reportedly rakes in N157 million a day. But it wasn’t all a rosy affair as she’d a running battle with the Nigerian government under former President Olusegun Obasanjo, which unconstitutionally acquired a 50% interest in the block without duly compensating Alakija or her company. Famfa Oil went to court to challenge the acquisition, and in May this year, the Nigerian Supreme Court reinstated the 50% stake to Famfa Oil.
Alakija through her charity, the Rose of Sharon Foundation, supports widows throughout Nigeria. Culled From Forbes
